Find a local electrician

Find a local electrician for your home

Tell us your zip code, the job and your timeline. Free, with no obligation: a person at HyreElectrical reads your request and replies. Matching with electricians is not live yet, so this is not a quote, and no electrician gets your details until you agree.

Sparking, a burning smell, heat at an outlet or panel, or someone got a shock? Stop using the circuit and call a licensed electrician now. For smoke or fire, leave and call 911. Do not wait on this form: it is not a dispatch line. To ask us something instead, call (866) 582-8523.

  • Free, and no obligation to hire anyone
  • No electrician gets your details until you agree
  • We are not an electrical contractor and will not quote the work
  • Not an instant quote: matching is still being built

Find a Local Electrician

Tell us about the electrical work and where you are. We will follow up about connecting you with electricians serving your area.

Step 1 of 3: your project

What happens after I submit?

A person reads it and replies. Submitting does not send anyone to your house, and it is not a booking. We answer your question and tell you when we can introduce electricians in your area. Nothing goes to an electrician unless you agree.

How HyreElectrical works sets out every step and what happens to your details.

What is worth doing first?

Each takes a few minutes and makes every later conversation shorter, including the one with an electrician.

What do you ask for, and why?

Only what we need to understand the job: your zip code, the type of work, your timeline and how to reach you. The address and phone number are optional. The privacy policy governs all of it. To talk to someone first, the contact page has our details.

Questions before you submit

Is this an instant quote?

No. Matching with electricians is not live yet, and we will not describe it as finished while it is not. A person at HyreElectrical reads your inquiry and replies, and we tell you when we can introduce electricians in your area. Nothing goes to an electrician unless you agree.

What does it cost me?

Nothing. There is no charge to use this site or to submit an inquiry. The intention is that electrical professionals pay for introductions once that service is operational.

What if something is sparking, hot or smells of burning right now?

Do not wait on a form. Stop using the circuit, and if it is safe to reach, switch it off at the breaker. If there is smoke or fire, leave and call 911. Otherwise call a local licensed electrician directly. This site is not a dispatch line.

What information should I have ready?

Your zip code, what you need done or what is happening, and your timeline. If the job involves the panel, the amp rating on the main breaker and the panel’s brand help most. Our service-size guide shows where to find them without opening anything.

Do I have to give a phone number?

No. The phone field is optional. Agreeing to calls cannot be a condition of using the service, so the form sends without it.

Can I get my inquiry deleted?

Yes. Ask us and it will be deleted. The privacy policy is the controlling document.
